Have you ever wondered what it must be like to be a billionaire? Have you ever thought about how they spend a day and what they buy? And have you ever imagined how you would live life if you were that rich?
Well, cutie pie, this isn’t about how to become a billionaire. Boohoo, I hear you cry! But it is about something far more important than that! Yes…drum roll maestro, pweez! It is about billion dollar feelings! Yes, those indescribable feelings you want to taste again and again and again. Those feelings that make falling in love feel like child’s play and the honeymoon phase feel like last night’s dry pizza. A slight exaggeration in this narrative, my little pumpkin but believe me when I say billion USD feelings do exist!
Would it surprise you to know billionaires are chasing exactly the same thing as you. And those feelings cannot be bought. Yes, you can buy 100 of the fastest cars on the planet, 100 of the most luxurious villas and 100 bottles of your finest tipple! And that is merely pocket money! But once that passes, it becomes like old gum you’ve chewed the flavor out of. And the desire for something new raises its incessant head and begins all over again. But what if people are chasing bliss in all the wrong places…
In my passion for business, I’ve always loved listening to high vibes types like the highly respected Richard Branson. Of course, he can have whatever he wants in terms of physical possessions. But he probably doesn’t actually want those things. I believe he is chasing those billion dollar feelings. Those YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH emotions when someone does a deal. Or those WOWWWWWWW’s when a brilliant idea pops into his head of some unchartered territory and has him punching the air with enthusiasm. But again, once the idea settles into the known, like the 101st luxury house, or a private island, or two or three, the feeling is fleeting…
But what if you could train to that feeling without ANY condition?
This is an area that fascinates me and is what I was living in South America. If wow moments lived could be measured in USD, I’d be one of the richest people on the planet. And none of it had anything to do with money. Imagine the feeling of bliss multiplied by 100 and you still wouldn’t come close….
You see I’d trained into bliss 24/7 and lived in that frequency for years. And now, I’m learning how to get it back…(to be continued in future blog posts). The more I learn about this, the more I realise just how lucky I’ve been clocking up those years on the road. Imagine the freedom that comes when you can feel that good without the need for anything to be the reason…
You keeping up with me here, sweetie.
Billion Dollar Bliss
What do you chase, what makes you high,
A life of fast living or floating on by,
Do you wake up happy, creating the day,
Or hide away with things are not going your way…
But never you fret, it is all up to you,
You can give in to blaming, or give that up too,
A billionaire you can be, but is that the prize?
Or live a life full, through wandering eyes…
Live for the feeling, that fills you in bliss
Chasing those dreams, that you get to kiss
You can have it all, of riches and thirst,
A billionaire second and adventurer first…
By me! XO
Why take the emotion?
In all my years of solo traveling, 17 to be precise, the powerhouse of emotion is KING! From the wealth of the Monaco elite, to the people who have to find their next meal, joy has no barriers to entry. Some of the happiest people I’ve witnessed were in places like the favella of Rio, a place that captured my soul. That addictive billion dollar bliss came to me in the most unsuspecting places.
And there are some emotions I felt that were totally new to me and to this day, so alluring. The taste of something that lights up every cell of your body like you are plugged in to bliss. And once tasted, you can never be the same, and you know life was worth the journey just to experience it.
You see, deep satisfaction and happiness cannot be bought, it is something you feel, it something you know, and it is something you have to tune to. It is a state of mind that, when you tap into it, you want it more and more and more. To some, it means objects, to some its a deal, to some, its a smile.
When you travel alone and live in the present moment, free of thought, life takes you to a new dimension. And the only way to feel it is to live it. You just cannot see any other way.
The truth about billion dollar bliss
Bliss is not a destination, it is a frequency. Just like a radio station, you have to tune to BLISS FM. And as you focus on that daily, you begin to experience the world through those eyes. To most, it is a short moment. To me, I had it 6 years non stop. I was so high without even realising it.
Bliss, true bliss is exercising the muscle of bliss for no reason other than it feels so damn good! Imagine waking up that way each day?! This, my little pickle is the billion USD prize! And no money can buy it, it is 100% an inside job.
As you may know, I am a solo travel expert and promote this lifestyle. So, want to tune to bliss the easy way? Watch out for Solo Travel Masterclass launching in May. (click here to find out more).
And finally…
Imagine the bliss of a delicious lunch made with love by an Italian who wants to spoon feed you his finest creations…or why not savor the bliss of a delicious cafe au lait and almond croissant as you bask in the Mediterranean sunshine without a care in the world…or the bliss of a chilled glass of rose on a terrace cafe watching locals perform an unintentional catwalk…
What are you waiting for, my little toasted brioche?!
Until next time XO!
