Is this the best solo travel blog? For women 40+, absolutely yes! Having been traveling alone for more than 16 years and non-stop, (worthy of a mention in the Guinness Book of Records lol), I now teach this stuff. Yes, this is me, and it’s crazy at times when I think about it. For one, I never set out to travel alone for such a long time but trust me, once you try solo travel, you’ll be hooked!
Of course I genuinely believe this is the best solo travel blog for middle aged women. I also want to add there are many fabulous solo travel blogs out there to inspire women and I wish them luck. We are all influencing healthy lifestyle changes for those who want freedom.
As I sit here planning new thrilling adventures, I cannot help but sit in awe of what I’ve achieved in the last 16 years while traveling alone. Even I can appreciate how daring it was to just quit a successful career and go off into the unknown.
The courage is not about going, it’s about staying and putting up with less than what you want. And that was something I wasn’t willing to do. Why have ordinary when extraordinary exists.
Let’s dive in and see why I believe this is the best solo travel blog for women 40+ who want to learn how to travel alone for the first time.

A Unique Perspective
One of the main reasons this is the best solo travel blog for women 40+ is my unique perspective. You can only write authentically on something you’ve personally experienced and nobody has done 16 years non-stop lol. I don’t just teach it, I live it.
It’s also the mindset and bravery to defy conventional life and choose paths few have taken. You’re not only reading the words of one such person, but the words of someone who carved out the path in the first place.
You won’t find a simply ‘go to this restaurant, that cafe, this boutique’ on this blog. I create thought-provoking content e.g. some blog about loneliness and how to meet people. I go into what loneliness actually is and how to never feel it again so you can be anywhere without feeling sad! (PS loneliness is not from a lack of people). This is something I teach in Module 3 of Solo Travel Masterclass and which takes solo travel to a whole new level.
Expert on solo travel
Having quit a highly successful career to venture out into the unknown, I knew I was taking a big risk. It’s funny to think I began when Facebook was a baby and smart phones didn’t even exist.
I haven’t simply solo traveled like a tourist passing through destinations. I’ve actually lived and worked in some places which has given me a deep insight and added to the whole solo travel experience.
Being a born adventurer and someone who craves exhilaration, it’s given me such a new lease of life as a 40+ woman. Having done it almost one third of my life, it’s given me the most blissful times of my life. To me, there is no downside.
As a solo travel expert, I guarantee you, once you’ve tried it, you’ll never be the same again. That my friend is living wanderfully.
Happiness coaching
With the launch of Solo Travel Masterclass in the Spring, I’ve dedicated an entire module on how to be happy under all and any circumstances. And yes, this is possible.
This online solo travel course delivers a promise of high value content and tools to help you make your dreams a reality. I’ve personally lived them, tested them, tuned them and tantalized over them and believe me when I say they are life-changing.
I have felt feelings which I can’t explain, and a feeling elusive to most of the planet. There are no words in the dictionary to explain it, believe me!!!
My blog investigates the typical feeling of being stuck where you are and ‘is this all life is, why can’t I just be free’. Believe me when I say I know how you feel.
In the world of information overload, and overwhelm at times, I share powerful techniques I’ve learned not only from the world’s best but some I created myself. Even if you can’t travel for some time, just to do Module 3 will teach you things that can save you thousands in coaching. Proudly, the feedback from ‘test’ clients has been phenomenal.
Creator of Solo Travel Masterclass (the only course of its kind)
This idea of simply settling in life is something many experience when they give up on a dream. It’s not because they don’t want to realize it, it’s only because they don’t know how. It was one of the reasons I created Solo Travel Masterclass in the first place. I wanted to offer a solution to help people see how easy it is to live a life of bliss no matter where you are and what you’re doing. And yes, I do mean bliss.
Solo travel is in its relative infancy. With an ever increasing desire for freedom at the forefront of desires, this unique and hugely rewarding form of travel is about to explode. As of today, Instagram #solotravel is at 7.1 million and growing fast.
