Imagine….savoring an espresso while basking in the glorious summer sunshine from a beautiful Tuscan piazza…the hustle and bustle of the weekly market as locals vie for its mouth-watering produce…the cries of ciao bella and arrivederci sing to your ears as if Pavarotti himself was serenading…a little people-watching as you sit in awe at the Italian ‘dolce vita’...the sound of vespas punching the sky as they navigate the morning’s traffic…a flirty glance from the waiter as he flaunts Italian charm from behind his obligatory sunglasses….your heart bursting with happiness as you take in the moment and contemplate the day ahead…’o sole mio’ – ‘what a wonderful thing a sunny day’…wanderfully imagined carrisima…
Ciao mi amore,
Of Tuscan dreams,
A landscape of beauty,
And much more it seems.
Can’t wait to meet you,
And let you unfold,
A region of history,
And much to be told.
With rolling hills and sunsets,
And cypress trees an art,
Such beauty abounds,
And captures the heart.
The sights and the sounds,
The sky and the air,
Such passion exudes,
In all you declare.
You fill up one’s eyes,
And sparkle they glow,
Grazie dolce vita,
This Tuscany I now know.
